Sherry has completed her massage therapy training and 2200 hours in June 2025.
Hello! I’m Sherry, a dedicated massage therapist who recently graduated from the Alberta Institute of Massage Therapy with Director’s Honours in the rigorous 2,200-hour program. With a background in healthcare, I bring a unique perspective to my practice—one that deeply appreciates the importance of both physical recovery and emotional well-being. I believe that everybody is different, and each person’s journey toward optimal health requires an individualized plan to help you achieve measurable goals. My goal is to blend relaxation, therapeutic work, and injury care in a way that addresses your specific needs. When I’m not helping clients, you’ll often find me exploring mountain trails, pushing my limits at the gym to maintain a balanced, healthy lifestyle, researching new techniques, and attending workshops to refine my skills. These activities reflect my own dedication to health, balance, and continual self-improvement—principles I bring to every massage session. My passion lies in enhancing the quality of life for others, I look forward to working with you and crafting a treatment plan that supports your unique goals.
Techniques:
I’ve honed a variety of advanced techniques that allow me to offer comprehensive care:
- Advanced Assessment – evaluation of posture, movement patterns, and areas of dysfunction
- Trigger Point Therapy – targeted release of muscle knots to reduce referred pain
- Joint Mobilizations – gentle movements to restore range of motion and joint health
- Myofascial Release – deep, sustained pressure on fascia to alleviate tightness
- Sports Massage Level 2 – techniques to support training, competition, and recovery
As new modalities and research emerge, I eagerly integrate them into my practice. This commitment to lifelong learning ensures that you receive the most up-to-date, evidence-based care available.
